March Currently

Holy criminoly March snuck up on us!!!  Our February was CRAZY!!!!  We had conferences on the 13th and 14th, which meant no kiddos Thursday and no school for us on Friday.  Woo hoo!  Kiddos are in school Wednesday and then we go right to conferences after school until 8:30 pm.  Blech!  Long Day!!!  However, the Friday off more then makes up for it!!  We followed that lovely week by President's Day off of school on the 18th and then snow days on the 21st and 22nd.  The following week we had snow days on the 26th and 27th.  Woo hoo!

Katie went a little stir crazy being home with all 3 of her kiddos by herself all those snow days, but I LOVED it!  My hubby got to work from home those days and since he is originally from Iowa and I grew up in Michigan we didn't let a little snow stop us!  We were out and about with our girls and it was FUN!My hubby even took the time to build an igloo for himself and the girls. (and if you are just dying of curiousity..no way did I wiggle by 7 month pregnant self into that igloo!  Can you say claustrophobic!!!!!!!)  :) Rylan loved the snow and couldn't get enough of it.  Brylee wanted to be out in the snow because Rylan was, but only lasted about 5 minutes at a time before she wanted to be inside!

In addition to all our snow days it has been awhile since we have had a chance to post and this was the perfect reason to make time!  We wanted to link up with Farley's March Currently.

  1. We had snow days here too!!! I live in the Texas panhandle so when it dumped 10-12 inches of snow on us we like to have died!!! I was home with my two boys 8,4 and it was all we could take to be inside for those days. How do you combat all the wet clothes and melty snow puddles? I about went crazy!!!! My mom laughs at me, she is from Iowa and so when it snows here the world about stops but she just goes on with her day.

Love your blog--- keep creating and hold out for Spring Break!!!!

  3. A big hooray for Spring Break on the horizon! Wish I could score one of those snow days - despite being just south of Chicago, all of the storms go just north/south/east/west of us! This is definitely the slowest part of the year...
